Margaret F. Aurori, 93, Former Saddle River Resident

SADDLE RIVER, N.J. — Former Saddle River resident Margaret F. (Collins) Aurori died Sunday, May 8. She was 93.

Aurori was a school social worker in the Bergenfield School system for many years after earning her B.A. at the College of Mt. St. Vincent in the Bronx and her Masters of Social Work and Education from Montclair State University.

She was a past parishioner of Church of the Presentation in Upper Saddle River, where she also volunteered.

Aurori is survived by her children and their spouses, Colleen and her husband Chris, Kevin and his wife Beverly, Brian and his wife Katherine, Kieran and his wife Teresa and Megan and her husband Robert; and grandchildren, Jason, Stefan, Ryan, Brandon, Frank, Edward, Kieran Jr., Derek, Kerianne, Taryn, Shawn, Erin, Robert Jr. and Constance. 

She was predeceased by her husband, Frank; and daughter-in-law, Jacqueline. 

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the Feeney Funeral Home, 232 Franklin Ave., Ridgewood.

There will be a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Friday at Church of the Presentation, with interment to follow in Mt. St. Mary’s Cemetery, in Flushing. 

In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to the Volunteer Auxiliary of NCH Marco Healthcare Center, 40 S. Heathwood Drive, Marco Island, FL 34145.
